A beautiful, healthy smile that lasts a lifetime is my ultimate goal when treating patients. What you do to care for your teeth at home plays a critical role in achieving this goal. Although I’m capable of providing excellent dental care to address oral health problems as they occur, my real desire is to prevent them in the first place.
Your personal home care starts by eating a balanced diet, reducing the number of snacks you eat, and correctly using the various dental aids my hygienist or I prescribe for you to help control the plaque and bacteria that cause dental disease. You can practice good oral hygiene at home by always brushing your teeth at lease twice daily with fluoride toothpaste and cleaning between your teeth at lease once a day with floss or another interdental cleaner.
Of course, you will need to schedule regular dental check-ups and professional cleanings in my office to keep your smile, and yourself, healthy!
